About Us

The Villa Park Marine Thanksgiving annual event Co-Chairs are brothers David and Evan Frackelton. Both are students at Villa Park High School. Their family has hosted Marines in their home since they were in elementary school. They are assisted by the Villa Park Community Services Foundation which handles all the finances and their event committee made up of Founders Rick & Bonnie Barnett, their parents Robert & Madonna Frackelton, community photographer Dan Dyk, and their community service club the National League of Young Men.

David and Evan took charge of this event in 2016 from the event Founders Rick & Bonnie Barnett. It takes about two hours each week year round to get this event organized, host families identified, relations with Camp Pendleton solidified, transportation contracted, etc. They are proud to be able to serve the Marines who serve our country.
