COVID-19 Business Recovery Grant Program - Phase Two

The application acceptance period for this phase is now closed. Applications submitted after 12:00 PM on August 12th, 2020 will not be accepted. 

The City of Villa Park will begin accepting applications for Phase Two of the COVID-19 Business Recovery Grant Program from 10:00 AM, Monday, August 3rd, 2020 through a web-based application or in-person at City Hall until 12:00 PM, Wednesday, August 12th, 2020 for review and evaluation. Applicants are highly encouraged to complete the application online but if this is not a feasible option, completed application packages will be accepted at City Hall. A hard-copy version of the application will be available for pick-up at Villa Park City Hall.

City of Villa Park Resources 

The City of Villa Park is working with community groups to help senior residents in need of assistance. The City is currently compiling a list of residents that would like to be contacted by a community group and receive aid. If you would like to be added to this list, please email info@villapark.org or leave a voicemail at City Hall (714) 998-1500 with your name, phone number, and address.

County of Orange Resources 

The County of Orange has announced the availability of resources and support for seniors over 65 who may be self-isolating during the COVID-19 outbreak. The Office On Aging is available to assist seniors who may not have access to food and other necessities as they self-isolate to avoid exposure to the COVID-19 virus. Older adults and/or their families are encouraged to call their Information and Assistance Call Center at (800) 510-2020 for assistance. Call center staff will screen calls and link senior residents with Orange County community partner organizations.

California Association for Micro Enterprise Opportunity

The California Association for Micro Enterprise Opporutnity (CAMEO) has compiled a list of resources for small- and micro- businesses affected by COVID-19. For more information, visit their webpage.

U.S. Small Business Administration

On March 16, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) approved an Economic Injury Disaster Loan assistance declaration for California, which makes loans available to applicable small businesses and private, non-profit organizations in designated areas of a state or territory to help alleviate economic injury caused by COVID-19. These loans may be used for select activities, with interest rates of 3.75% for small businesses without credit available elsewhere (businesses with credit available elsewhere are not eligible) and 2.75% for non-profits.
