How is the City Responding?

The City of Villa Park is actively monitoring the situation involving the infectious disease outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). The lead national agency is the Federal Government. The Orange County Health Care Agency is the lead authority for all public health emergencies in our City and County. They are working closely with all jurisdictions including the California Department of Public Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to respond to recent reports of the Coronavirus.

At this time, we advise residents and businesses to follow all recommendations from the CDC as well as local advisories from the California Department of Public Health and the Orange County Health Care Agency. Orange County Health Care Agency has established a health referral line to answer any questions from the public: 800-564-8448, seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

City Hall

Villa Park City Hall is currently closed to the public and all City public counter services will be performed by City staff online, or by telephone until further notice. The Building Department, Planning Department, and Engineering Department will be limited to in-person meetings by appointment only, as necessary.

  • Building inspections will continue to be conducted, however, in the interest of reducing potential COVID-19 transmission, the Building Official will work with contractors/property owners to conduct any requested inspections using photographs, video footage, FaceTime, or other video conference applications.

Due to the high number of calls and emails expected during this time, we appreciate your patience as we work to respond to our community.

  • Food: Grocery stores, farmers markets, food banks, convenience stores, take-out and delivery restaurants
  • Banks
  • Laundromats/laundry services
