City Schools Advisory Committee

 

Purpose

The Committee proactively addresses issues of Orange Unified School District schools within Villa Park boundaries, maintain open and honest communication, and foster a collaborative environment in order to resolve issues of mutual concern. 

Committee Members

The Committee shall be comprised of a Chair and Vice-Chair, and when possible, representatives from the Orange Unified School District, the principals and parent group leadership of each public school, and representatives from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. Length of Term

Committee members shall be appointed or removed by a majority vote of the City Council annually, based on the Mayor’s recommendation, which will be provided no less than 72 hours in advance of the meeting as part of the staff report. 

Meetings

Meetings no more than six times a year, unless otherwise noted.
