The purpose of the City’s LHMP is to assess its current state and preparedness for potential hazards, evaluate and incorporate ongoing mitigation activities and related programs, determine additional mitigation measures needed, outline a strategy for implementation of mitigation projects, and plan for continued evaluation of the natural disaster risks that can significantly affect the City.
